You colour it, or you trim it short, or you've made peace with it. Doesn't matter which: the roots don't care. Week three arrives and there's that silver line at the temples, in the parting, along the crown, announcing itself in every mirror and every photo.

So you book the salon again. Forty minutes, another appointment, another bill for something that grows back before the month ends. Or you buy the supermarket box dye and hope it doesn't go orange.

There's a lazier option, and lazy is a compliment here.

The questions that matter

"Will it look like powder in my hair?"

No. The fibers are finer than your own hair and sit between the strands. In your shade, at conversation distance, under office lights: it reads as your colour, grown in.

"What about rain, sweat, pillows?"

Colourfast means colourfast. The pigment is locked in the fiber, not sitting on it, so nothing bleeds onto skin, collars or pillowcases. It holds through a workout and a wet walk home, and leaves only when you shampoo.

"I'm mostly grey now. Is covering it even the move?"

Where it doesn't work

Fibers need hair to hold onto. Completely bald patches, shaved heads, or covering grey at skin level with no surrounding hair: not the product. Regrowth lines, salt-and-pepper blending, a thinning crown with grey coming through: exactly the product. If you're in the first group, keep your money.
